Chicks Outside

How old should the chicks be before we put them outside in a coop? The coop is a fairly large shed, and at night it is in the 30s-40s. We will have a heat lamp out there too.

I would not put them out before they are fully feathered. They cannot retain body heat with out full feathers! Mine were about 8-10 weeks old.
Make sure there are absolutely no breezes/drafts able to get to them at night!
