My couple of my 4 week old chicks have runny golden brown poop that stinks. Every Bm is this way. Feed non med starter plenty water. They are out in yard during day.
Next question night are about 65 degrees days are 80 can I move them to coop or keep them in house still at night. 4 weeks old. Thanks

I'm too new to chickens for much advice but I was told by several veteran chicken owners it was best to wait til they were fully or mostly feathered before going to the coop. Although there are many people that put their chicks in the coop from day one, I was to nervous to do that so I chose to keep our girls in the house til they were feathered. They went to the coop with temps at night in mid 40's we had a heat lamp on at night for a few nights but that was because I thought they might be cold, the day time temps ranging 75-85. The chicks are loving life now! They'll be 7 wks old this Saturday and have been in their coop/run since 4/28/15.

There is actually a "poop chart" on here somewhere that is pretty helpful if you don't mind looking at several examples of poop. LOL Not sure if you can type "poop chart" in the search bar or not. Good luck with your chicks.
