Some breeds are worse than others for being terrified as chicks. some get over it others don't.

Some breeds are flightier than others. But if you hum or sing gently and hold you them, and feed treats out of your hand, they’ll eventually grow used to you.

I tried calmly and slowly moving my hand, while humming, toward the chick when picking it up and it didnt run away!!!

Yes!! Slow and calm, humming or quietly singing is key.
