Is it normal for new chicks to be somewhat scared of me? will they eventually get used to humans?

    Thanks

Some breeds are worse than others for being terrified as chicks. some get over it others don't.

Some breeds are flightier than others. But if you hum or sing gently and hold you them, and feed treats out of your hand, they’ll eventually grow used to you.

Yes!! Slow and calm, humming or quietly singing is key.
