Chicks went into the coop all by themselves!

Just proud of them. Out of 10, 7 climbed the ladder into the coop and got onto the roost all by themselves! They have only been outside for 2 days. I kept them cooped up for the first day, today is the first day they were let out. I think the 7 are geniuses, the other 3 may be culled just to keep the genetic pool of the flock at the genius level!!!

Mine went in tonight too! I let me little ones out to free range with the big girls the last couple of days. We have had to help the last few in every night at dark. Tonight when we got back home right at dark and they were all in the coop on the roost. I was so proud!

They are 5 weeks old.

Yep... Genius chickens. Like Mozart they have shown indications of prodigious abilities at a very young age!!! Next step is getting them violins and pianos
