Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Maddox hesitated before he answered, he wanted nothing more then to spend the night in her room but figured it would be better to decline. "I would love nothing more then to spend the night with you in my arms. But I think it might be best if we didn't." He saw her face fall at his answer and he reached out to smooth the lines in her forehead at her frown. He kissed the side of her face trying to show her it wasn't because he didn't want to.
Lilith' face grew in excitement at his first words, then sunk in disappointment afterwards. She let him kiss her as a sorry, and replied "You're probably right. It's safer that way. I'm sorry I'm so childish."She was angry with herself for looking so stupid, it would be suspicious if they had a sleepover too.

Rowan shrugged and wouldn't meet her eyes. "I guess, with you. No one else, not yet anyway." He replied uncertainly.
Areum sensed he didn't truly enjoy it that much. She asked quietly "We can just go back to the board game if you like, or if you're tired we can just see each other tomorrow or some other days." She winced inwardly as she realized she had just done what he had been telling her not to.

Victor got a great idea: scaring her. He flew down quickly, knowing that the flight would attract her in that direction. He quickly shifted and waited behind a bookshelf as she neared. As she came down the aisle, Victor tended and stopped breathing. Almost there...just a bit more. When lucy was just about out of the aisle to see him, he jumped out, with a smile one his face afterwards.

Claire laughed at her last comment. She agreed "Yeah, shooting cyanide from your fingers is pretty weird." She asked conversationally "What were you modeled after?"

"Oh? That got your attention. What if I get to the donuts and scarf them down before you can even get them? I'll let you lick my fingers, there's bound to be some glazed left on them. "Razeth said as he bolted for the door.
(Well, I almost asked Silks if she play the maid. :tongue but Haley works. :clap )
"No!" Laurel moaned playfully as she lifted her body from the bed, dragging herself towards the door.

"Even better. " Dimitri replied as he got the key to unlock the door. He opened it wide and looked to Alexis expectantly.

"If it looks like sleeping beside eachother, then you don't need glasses. Congratulations!" Vasper growled low as he pulled the sheet up over his head.
"Vasper!" Amaryllis quietly scolded his sarcasm. She looked to Haley, thinking she should get up to talk with her, but her mind was so numb she couldn't make herself leave the warmth the comforter embraced her with. Instead she frowned deeply, not understanding what Haley meant by her accusation, completly innoncent of what idea the scene might bring to mind. "I was tired," she began slowly, struggling to form words, "Vasper suggested that I rest."

Alexis yelped in surprise as something came flying at them. At the last moment it turned sharply and headed for a bed where it shifted and turned into Zaine, now sprawled out on his bed. "Owl boy shows himself at last," she whispered, giving Dimitri a nudge with her elbow.

Zaine groaned, but it wasn't from them being here. Actually, it was kinda nice to see them at the moment. If anyone could help...
He shot a hand up and waved it at them, then quickly returned it to his side as he groaned once more. "Dimitri, I'm a horrible awkward human and that's the fact of it," he mumbled loudly.

Haley practically glared at him. She didn't say anything in reply but looked to Amaryllis for what she hoped would be a better explanation. If Vasper so much as laid a finger on her friend, heavens help him.

Haley stared hard at her, searching for the truth in that statement. She instantly softened when she recalled that Amaryllis had been in a coma half her life; she probably didn't know why Haley was so upset with this. But still, that made her all the more vulnerable. "I think it best you keep the resting to your own room," she said gently. Somebody was going to have to explain some things to the girl, and it probably wouldn't be Ryker.

Lucy smirked to herself when she heard the soft sound of wings. He was moving, and with good reason. But the question was, moving to hide, or...? Two could play this game. She shifted, almost simultaneously with him jumping out, and scurried up his back to his shoulder.

"Chameleon," Atalanta said simply. Another swatch of paint. "You. Not a canine or feline, but an aquatic creature?" She paused, frowning. "No. An insect of sorts?"
