Lilith smiled at his words and his affection. He was the light of her world, without him she would've become a mindless killer. She countered "Without you, I would hate this place. With you, I love it." She paused before asking "Want to steal some dinner and have a sleepover in one of our rooms?"
Areum replied shyly "I feel bad for you, that's all." She added "A hug might've made it better"
Victor looked down at her, never letting his gaze off of her, moving quietly in the back of the shadows.
Lucy skipped past the first few shelves and on towards the back. She hadn't seen him shift but knew he was likely in vulture form. And being a bird, he'd probably go for the higher shelves, so she walked on her tip toes as she searched the upper shelves.
Casey nodded and chuckled "Yeah, come with me." He said as he went to the door to take her to the closet with the extra blankets and pillows.
Rowan looked at the board, thinking about what she said. "No one hugs me." He said quietly.
Areum said even more quietly, barely more than a whisper "No one hugs me either, so I try to hug others."
Rowan glanced up to her then tilted his head at her. "Come here." It was more of a command than he had used before.
Areum got up and followed, now nervous. She asked quietly "Where are we going?" She looked at him with her piercing mysterious eyes.
