Chinese geese

Hi, everyone we are new to byc, and have lots of questions. We have four supposedly white Chinese goslings,they are 7 weeks old but are not developing their knobs. How long until they do? They are starting to oink, honk.... We think we have have 3 geese and a gander. I have read they mate for life and that they don't mate for life. Do we need to find them all a mate?

Thank you, we also have 23 chicks of varying varieties, they seem to be be doing well, how long should we keep them on chick starter?

Layena bag suggest changing layers to layer feed at 18 weeks.
