I have an odd question.
One of our cochins has an interesting problem.
A couple of months ago, it would seem that she injured herself hopping off the roost.
For a good 6 weeks, she did very odd things with her neck. Craning it all the back, doing 180s, laying it in her back, etc.
This went on all the time!!
She went off her feed for the first 2 days, but then bounced back in that regard.
Now, her neck issues have nearly disapeared, but at the same time, she seems to be having further issues.
She hunches and twists her whole body up, with her wings 1/2 way out, and sort of freezes in place.
I have tried to see what is going on when this happens, and she is as stiff as a board.
She will then shake off whatever it is after a couple of minutes.
Is it possible her spine is all out of whack, and needs adjusting? How would I proceed?
What else should I look for?
I want to figure this out for her, as she is due to start laying any day now, and we need the eggs.
