I am looking for the breeds that can be found in chocolate color. Ive seen a few pics of the choc orps in the UK and have read the threads about them here, has anyone gotten a hold of any yet?

I don't think the silkies or the polish are real chocolate, I think they would be dun.

The OP said "chocolate colour," not choc gene [IMG] Yes, most of the chocolate birds in the US are dun-based. choc is here, but not common; I think it is mostly found in serama, although some folks may be breeding it into other breeds.

I already have too many birds [IMG] I'll take a more evenly coloured khaki polish, though [IMG] and I can't believe I am saying this, but preferably a cock who is at least 2.
