Chocolate gene sexlink info needed

    I can't find info on this but I've read it a few times that theres a chocolate gene that's sexlinked. What does the chicks and adults look like in these colors? Does any one have any picture examples?
    Also is chocolate a type of red?

    Mybe just a lack of care. It wouldnt be too hard to make dun partridge that would look similar.
