I have a chocolate orpington pullet that is about 5 months old. She was hopping around funny so i picked her up to examine and found that her left leg was totally limp. All joints and toes are just floppy. She offers no resistance when i pull on it and doesnt even act as if it hurts. I cant feel any breaks or warm spots or anything. Anyone have any ideas?

Is she eating and drinking ok?
Any other signs - lethargy, coughing, sneezing, etc.?
Is they leg splayed at all or crooked?
She may have sprained it. You may want to limit her activity for a while to see if she improves If you can cage her in the run so she is still "included" with the flock that would be best.
Offer some poultry vitamins in her water, give her a boost in protein by giving some egg, tuna, mackerel or meat. Leg injuries can take several weeks to heal.
