I just got my order from metzer and noticed the one sexed drake is darker than the sexed females. Is this coincidence or is the chocolate drake normally darker down colored? They sent me and extra chocolate str run duckling and its the same color as the girls so I was hoping that meant it was a girl [IMG]

I dont think it has anything to do with sex. My very first duckling order was from Metzers and I got two (supposedly) female chocolate runners and one ended up being a drake. They looked identical

You can't sex a runner by color, that the boy is darker means nothing other than he's currently darker.
