Hi all. New to the BYC and new to muscovies. I picked up a few this spring that were hatched out of a communal nest - several (2 females and a male) ended up being mostly chocolate with a few white feathers here or there. Of the potential parents I saw most were blue and white or black and white - didn't see any other chocolates. Would I be correct in assuming a) that the parent ducks were chocolate or chocolate split to white? and b) that, if bred with other (unrelated) chocolates that the babies would also be mostly chocolate with some white?

Thanks!
