I believe that cornish are also accepted in the Open show.
This should be a great new show just across the Red River so it also close to Texas.

They also will have a sale and raffle and I believe some top Game Breeders will have a few birds for sale.

Well we have good news [IMG] ---bad news [IMG]

Our first ever poultry show here in Durant has been postponed until March 12th.
The ice/snow just won't quit and we had already had several call to say they couldn't make it.
I think it was a wise thing to do because not only was I worried about the safety of those driving in but also about the condition of the birds. They have already been through several days of stress and don't need any more.
Any way...thanks to all who signed up to show. We were pleased to have 500 birds entered since we only expected to have around 350. There is enough support in this area to sustain an annual show so we will probably keep it up.

I am glad to hear it was postponed because Claudia and I plus our friends in Brenham decided not to chance it. I would have hated to miss it. We will be there on the 12th.
