This is my first time raising chickens. As a little girl I visited my Grandparents farm and gathered eggs all the time. I have 15 girls. They are finally all laying. It is so exciting to finally see something for all my work. You don't really realize what is involved with raising chickens. The cost and the waiting for your first egg. I really enjoy my girls. I am afraid that I spoil them a little, with treats, but it is well worth it.

wow awesome size flock! and yes we do spoil them we got a chicken Block from tractor supply.watermelon and my mom feed's them all sorts of yummy stuff too,we are enjoying them alot,we share them as we live together,glad your here too.
