Looks like they are having fun. I was afraid we'd be seeing something with brown crispy skin just out of the roaster. [IMG]

we have never had a christmas goose for the table as of yet, are they good? What is the best way to cook them?

Goose is delicious. Traditionally, for Christmas, they're roasted -- just be sure to utilize a rack so the fat can drain away. I love goose sausage. And there's another BYCer here who cans goose and says it's scrumptious that way. I haven't tried it.

    Beautiful Christmas pic.
I wanted a goose for christmas dinner this year but when I looked at the price I changed my mind real quick. The cheapest one was (small) $59.00 and the highest one was (large) $83.00. I didn't even look at the weight on them. That was sticker price shock. I sure didn't know they cost that much.

My husband is always telling our gander his goose is cooked, he'd probably be so tuff we couldn't even bite into him so I guess we'll keep him around, ....[IMG]
