Christmas lights on the chicken coop?

    I was thinkin about it but I don't know... what do you guys think? anyone do this before?

    There was a great thread last year on this very thing! Do a search and you'll see some neat ideas!
    And, you can see what you are doing out at the coop as the days get so short. [​IMG]

    I am glad that you found it. I tried to find it and I saw some from 2008, but I gave up on the one I was looking for. The solo cup lights/bells were so neat and clever.
    I have not decorated anything yet. I better get on it!

    I hadn't done it but it sounds fun. I wonder if the added light from the christmas lights will increase their laying? Hmm..... I think a trip to Home Debot is in order!

    I used to put Christmas lights on my chicken coup all the time! But we moved and my barn doesn't have electricity :( It's fun to do, and it looks pretty from the road! I don't think it bothers the chickens either, as long as you don't put any inside the coup.
