christmas party egg nog...

We just had a christmas party and someone brought egg nog and can you feed it to chickens sound silly... it the Oberwesis brand and know in the house wants it.

Personally I would not, they are lactose intolerant and will get diarrhea.

My chickens love milk, but it is raw so the lactose is not an issue. In small amounts they can handle pasteurized milk. However, I would not give them eggnog because it is very high in sugar. I wish I were closer - I'd take it off your hands. I love Oberweiss eggnog!
