She's an Australorpe laying hen +/- 8 months old and her chest is sunken, her black feathers have strange white flecks and she doesn't move around much. She's stopped eating and drinking. We've been using a sports bottle and various vitamin/salt solution to keep her going. We de-flead all the chickens 2 months ago and last week. She's been inside for 2 days now. She also seems a bit lopsided. Please help! Any advice would be great!

Sounds like she really needs to be seen by a vet.

Hi. Sorry I didn't get back to you but I've been offline and v busy. My hen had an upper respiratory infection that was chronic and had reached her lungs. RIP precious chicken. The vet said he couldn't save her [IMG] Kids and I have been so sad. At least we got meds for the others as it's contagious.

I'm so sorry about the loss of your hen. It's always sad to lose one of our flock. Be sure and give the meds to the others. Good luck with the rest of your flock.
