city ducks meet country chickens

hi.
i have been given 2 white ducks,they were hatched this spring,are they still considered ducklings?
what do i feed them,they have live in apartment ,went for walks and swam in the tube.now they are comeing to my little chicken farm.not sure what to do. i thought of putting them in a area where they could get use to the country life then hopefully houseing them with my batums and not the full size chickens what is your suggestions on this.i do plan on getting a kiddy pool for them to play in. any information would a blessing

Many people do house ducks and chickens together...But the ducks can be extrememly messy. It may be better for your chickens if you can house the duck seperately. They sound like they were well cared for in the city....Im sure they will love being in the country- But it will be quite an adjustment for them- They may take a little while to get used to the wide open spaces.
