Hi, I was born and raised in Chicago and now live on a farm with 27 Standard breed chickens, 12 Bantam chickens, 4 ducks, 4 goats, and 4 rabbits. I never thought that chickens were something that I was ever going to be interested in but since last year I have fallen in love with these animals. I haven't had any problems with my chickens and of course a lot of trial and error. The error is buying bantams from a swap and not separating for 2 weeks first. What started out with one having swollen eyes, (which i thought was being pecked by the others) has led into 3 with swollen eyes. I guess just looking for suggestions as to what it could be and how to treat. Any information would be valuable. Don't want to loss my bantams or my standards.
from California, sorry I don't know what is wrong with their eyes, but someone will be able to help you. Good luck.
you could try posting in "Emergencies / Diseases / Injuries and Cures" first go up to the "forum" tab, then scrol down to "raising backyard chickens" then click on "Emergencies / Diseases / Injuries and Cures". good luck to ya
