City Rooster

Anyone have any clever tricks to keep a rooster quiet for just a little longer in the morning? He is *inside* the hen house overnight, but the sound isn't muffled as much as I had hoped because, of course, this time of year the windows are all open for ventilation.

I have a permit to keep him, but would like to let the neighbors sleep a bit later in the morning!

Anyone found anything that works to buy some more time in the a.m.?

Hi. I Also Have A City Rooster.not Permitted.I Keep Him In The Garage Overnight.I Block The Windows With Black Lawn Bags. This Keeps Him Quite Till About 8am.then I Put Him Outside,with The Hens.so Far He Has'nt Crowed Outside.fingers Crossed.hes 3 Months Old And Has A VOICE FOR OPERA . Good Luck
