Anyone have any clever tricks to keep a rooster quiet for just a little longer in the morning? He is *inside* the hen house overnight, but the sound isn't muffled as much as I had hoped because, of course, this time of year the windows are all open for ventilation.

I have a permit to keep him, but would like to let the neighbors sleep a bit later in the morning! :)

Anyone found anything that works to buy some more time in the a.m.?

    Thanks,

    Erica
