So they have a safe place to sleep in a few weeks. We have a building in the back yard thats filled with seed and grain (about 3 inches worth on the floor). So we built some walls using old 2x4s and plywood, and walled a 100 sqft area off (the whole grain house is about 500sqft). THen cleaned out the grain and seed and....other animal leftovers in that area, then patched all the holes that were big enough to let critters in.
I am also going to get some stakes and chicken wire and fance a 10x10 area infront of the grain house for them to play in. So hopefully no animal attacks will happen. I feel so sorry for those who have lost their birds past few days.
Oh and I also got some niacin for the ducks. I am putting 25mg in each 1liter water bottle they drink. Should that be enough? I read on here the neutrina chick feed doesnt have enough for ducks.
