Cleaning a pheasants feathers

I've got some feathers I have saved for crafting with. Was wondering if there is a quick and good way to clean and disinfect them without damaging them.

A nice steamer will work or just dip them in warm soapy water, don't bend them and then blow dry them with the gradient you could also air dry but I like blow drying them.
