Cleaning brooder

My 5 chicks 1 1/2 week old are in a plastic and wire rabbit cage. Can I use bleach or vinegar to clean their cage and feeder? One of their sisters died and I want to give it a good cleaning.
Thanks in advance for any help.

ps I have been cleaning their shavings out every day and the cage is 40L x17w x 21h.

Bleach, baking soda, laundry detergent, dish soap or vinegar should work. I've used all on small critter cages just make sure you rinse well and dry. I try to wash out brooders/cages once a week

If you use bleach make sure you dilute it really well. I would probably choose vinegar over bleach, and let it dry really well afterward. So sorry for your loss!

I would avoid bleach, I like to use a natural mixture like homeade lemon cleaner but if I was to use a commercial product I would go for simple green drastically diluted or an eco friendly cleaner.

I would use vinegar. I think bleach might be a bit of over kill. Also it could bother their sensitive lungs.
