I looked around , I hope this is in the right section. I let my chickens free range for 3 or more hours a day. Then I clean up the poop from the ground. Usually by sweeping it into a dust pan and digging a whole in the ground. Some of the poop is more brown and really sticks to the ground , even with high a pressure hose. Any suggestions of how to remove the 'brown spots' on my patio.? Thanks. If this keeps up, before long my whole patio will be all stained spots. Ewww![IMG]

I've learned to think of chicken poop as hardscaping. [IMG]

I've never heard of it staining???

Bleh! Wondering the same thing. Our next house will have a MUCH bigger run and less free ranging.

I have a gate up; those little girls fly right over it! [IMG] When they get into a part of the yard I have gated off, it is so funny to watch them! They 'know' they aren't allowed there, and freeze like a deer in headlights when I go shoe them off! I call them "The Wrecking Crew!" [IMG] I love them, my Australorp is the best! They have even been coming in my house if I leave the screen door open.
