I have finished my first hatch and need to clean the inside of my bator to get ready for more eggs next week [IMG] [IMG] and wasn't sure what was safe to use on it. I have the Hovabator 1588. Thanks for your help!!

Warm soapy water with dawn dish liquid and a weak solution of bleach... wipe and rinse well, set in the sun for a few hours to get rid of any other germs... It's what I do with mine...

  3. I use a new sponge hot water and Anti-Bacterial soap.

Scrub out the pan and then I let it sit outside in the sun to "Bake" it.

Not that it is that warm here but the sun dries it out really nice. [IMG]

Hot soapy water then a good rinse. I soak it in hot bleach water for several hours. Rinse well with fresh water. Then dry in the sun.
