    New to the forum and got or RIR today! Hopefully with everyone help we can figure this out!

    Welcome to Backyard chickens. Did you only get one chick or more??? Chickens are much happier in a flock, than being one and only.

    Cute chicks! I don't think they are RIR's though, since they are not red. I'm not sure what they could be though, those white feathers and reddish down is throwing me off. Where did you get them?

    I was told they are RIR and something else. My friend had 6 of them and didn't want all 6. I will have to ask him again.
