My friend who is partners in our chickens, came up with a super clever way to feed our chickens greens. She had a non used 1 gallon chicken wire gopher guard that she wired on to inside of the run, filled it with greens, and gave our chickens a fun way to eat greens. It is sort of a slow feeder( I have hay nets for my horses that do the same thing). I looked around my ranch, and found a 5 gallon non used gopher guard and added that as well. These things work beautifully, entertains the girls, and you can buy them at garden supply stores for very little money....
