Clipping girls wings???

The girls are coming up on twelve weeks and I'm wondering if it is ok to clip their wings yet? I only plan on clipping one side to prevent them from flying successfully. Any comments will be helpfull.

If their flight feathers have come in I'd say that's fine. Just clip the very tips of one side.

Clipping wings is easy and painless for the chicken. Their feathers are pretty much hollow. Here is a diagram how to clip the wings from BYC! I have been clipping wings on all types of birds for years and years! Easy peasy!
