Clipping Wings (IDK where this belongs so im gonna just put it here.)

So I clipped my girls wings so they wouldn't be able to jump over our little fence. And they are still jumping over! We clipped both wings. were we not supposed to do that?

It was our first time, so I think we must have done something wrong. Do we have to cut their wings shorter?

Actually, I think it has more to do with the height of your fence. Chickens can jump at least 4 feet (some breeds can jump even more), and don't even have to fly it.

If your fence isn't a higher than standard one, that could be your problem. Try 'elevating' it by tying up string along the top on sticks.

And you should really only clip one wing as they will be lopsided if they try and take flight
