Clipping wings

I had a question about clipping my 5 bantam leghorn hens wings so they don't go flying over my fence if I let them out of their run for a bit. My question is this: Their roosting area is about 18" off the ground and their nesting area is about 15" off the ground. If I sit their and clip their wings will I make it less likely for them to roost and nest where they are supposed to?

No, but I'd wait to see if they fly out before clipping their wings. Rarely do mine go over my fence when I let them out into the yard and if they do they usually know how to get back in .
