Hi is it normal for a Mum to pull the long feathers out from her back so she has a bald patch on her back? How long will it take to grow back? Is it because she is deficient in something? I had good nesting boxes with lots of wood shavings and straw and two did this but others didn't. Thanks for helping.

Bare backs can also be from being over mated. Get your girl a chicken saddle. [IMG]
