Please help!

-2.5 months old (10-11 weeks).
-Very lethargic, will drink and keeping down.
-See attached photos of swollen eyes
-VERY hot days (over 95) the past 4 days
-Hearing some wheezing from mouth and nostrils, open mouth and some blood crustiness around face and mouth
-some???? Blood in poop, hard to tell and not a lot. Just cleaned the coop and didn’t see anything. When we found her she had some blood on her vent but none since
-she’s had this appearance and level of illness for about 3 hours
****Doxycycline was the only drug available within 25 miles of us, so started appropriate dose this afternoon.

Thank you so much for any help!! She’s such a good girl and I really hope she pulls through.

Can we get a better look at the one side of her face, especially the beak. (an in focus photo?)

Front of the face and under the beak (chin/chest area)?

Has she by any chance been beaten up by another bird? Where is she normally housed, with older birds or birds of her own age?

I can’t tell if these are just drippings from her mouth and nose (some liquid was coming out, almost like bloody mucus or something) or injuries? I’ve never seen any of my birds go after eachother, and I’m with them a lot. They are all the same age. Grew up together.

If there is a foul odor coming from the mouth or around the head area, it's Coryza.
However, with the blood around the face and mouth. my first thought was Infectious Laryngotracheitis (ILT). There is no treatment for ILT.
Here's a link:

No odor, just chicken smell. I haven’t seen any blood or mucus come up. Just found her like this. No coughing and a little mucus has come through her nose. Some wheezing when we give her food and water through a droplet.

If it’s laryngitis she would never be able to be reintroduced? This is so hard bc I feel like all chickens exhibit the same symptoms for 100 different things….

Are her lungs crackly? Instead of just water can you add nutri drench to it or molasses or honey or maple syrup? Are you able to diffuse peppermint or eucalyptus essential oil?

Don't judge my photo editing, I was trying to see her beak more clearly. :)

Do you have someone that can help you with her?

To me, it looks like her beak is cracked and it's out of alignment.
It would be hard to know how that happened but separate her out.

Get her hydrated. If she will willingly drink on her own that would be best. If not, the tubing or syringing will get fluids into her but be more tricky for you and painful for her.

Sugar water, electrolytes, etc. Fluids first, then offer wet feed.

I would be hesitant to give any aspirin since we don't know the extent of her injuries. Look over her body, her back, under her wings, etc. for green bruising.

Do the best you can to work on her, see how it goes.
