Were you all/y'all aware there's finally a Coccidiosis Vaccine available otc? Has anyone tried it?
I have issues every spring/summer with young chicks that have Corid resistant coccidia. I order and give them Endocox.... and that works, but I'd rather avoid it if i could. I've talked to vets every year about vaccinating for it, but had been told it's only available to hatcheries. I just saw an advertisement for a Coccidiosis Vaccine through Valley Vet. It's expensive, but yay! We have options. I already vaccinate just hatched chicks for Merek's..... this shouldn't be hard to incorporate this year as well.
How well do you think the Coccidiosis Vaccine works in general if you've had chickens that are vaccinated for it?
