Cochin chick colors? Age? Gender?

We just received 2 Cochin chicks and her momma. They are cute but they are very thin and were kept in a cage. We don’t know how old, my guess is 2 weeks... I think they are too young to know their gender but if you want to try be my guest! I have been looking all over for what color these chicks will become. Please help!

They look like 2 week old Partridges. The mom is a Red. She is very poor quality, and may not even be pure Cochin. Too young to tell genders on the babies.

What does poor quality mean? We paid 40 for all three, have we been ripped off?

Poor quality meaning not adiquite to be shown I assume, but I don't show birds so I wouldn't know.

$40 for all three is not bad. They just won't place in shows. The babies may, it's too young to tell, but the mom for sure not. She'll be a fine pet, layer, and mom just not a great show bird.
