Cochin chicken average egg production

I'm new to rasing chickens and about a month ago I just bought 2 partridge cochins, a hen - Gladys and rooster - Abner. I was told they were about 6 months old at the time. I got my first perfect medium brown egg from Gladys last Thursday. My next egg on Sunday and to my surprise another Monday and another today! Is it normal for cochins to lay an egg 3 days in a row like that? Everything I've read says they only lay an average of 2 per week. I'm sure it's normal, but I'm just wondering what I can expect from a 7 month old cochin chicken.

I have some cochin hens who lay like that and some who lay less frequently. Each girl is a bit different.

COCHIN'S ARE LOVABLE THEY WOULD'NT EAT YOU. THEY MIGHT NIBBLE. NOW IF YOU ARE THERE FOR DAY NO IDEA WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN.
