Cochin Male or Female?

Hello,
We have a Cochin.
We used to think hes a hen but now we think hes a cockerel.

I would like to make sure if it is a boy

It... Tries to crow, mates with the girls, afraid of a few chickens (1 of the older ones) and when we first got it, it used to hide and never get close to a chicken.

How old is he?
At around 30 weeks you will know for definite, I wouldn't rule him out being a hen until I saw a better photo because oddly enough, the lead hen will sometimes mount birds lower down in the pecking order and your crow might be an egg song, however at thirty weeks you will know because makes feather differently to females.

However on your rooster I think I can see saddle feathers so I think it's a rooster but I would need more photos to confirm.
