cochin or brahma ?????

    hello all i am new to this great site.... i bought this big boy as a cochin but after looking a little closer I'm not so sure...does anyone know?

    I've never seen a Brahma with this coloring...do u think he's a crossbreed or SilverLace

    I too am thinking a cross. He doesn't look pure brahma. He's handsome though!

    ok how can you tell i recently got a bunch of hens and a rooster the rooster looks exactly like this almost only difference i can see is the comb
    they where also supposed to be cochins they where sickly looking lol 1 of those accedentle bids where i said that 1 looks like a silkie cross nudged my dad and he raised his arm(the 1 that looked like a silkie was crippled and very sick and slept out on our gravel driveway when it frosted i tried to save him but he just flopped around like he already had his head chopped off so i killed and took out in the field as an offering to the coyotes)

    looks like a hatchery Brahma. The comb is the big clue, cochins have a single comb like a barred rock or leghorn.

    He is a Brahma but is a cross from a Dark Brahma and something else??
