Cochin Slow feather-ers?

    I have a 3 week old blue cochin baby that is growing fine, but is seriously lacking in real feathers- are cochins slow to feather out?

    Some are, usually they are males. I have one that still doesnt have all his feathers in. And he's a couple of months old too.

    Whew! Well that means that mine are probably girls then...they have most of their feathers at 4 weeks.
