I have 3 BCM pullets and one cockeral, all 20 weeks old. Two of the pullets keep going into the nest boxes, and sitting, but are constantly being interrupted by the cockeral, "checking" on them. It's like he looks around, notices that one is missing, and dashes into the coop to check. Is it possible that they are ready to lay, but the distraction is keeping them from it? Thanks!

They will lay regardless of him taking his job too seriously. Many young roosters get a bit too involved. When your hens are ready to lay he won't stop them.
