    That is definitely a cockerel. Do you see how different his feathering is from the girls around him. Those back feathers are long and thin, and the neck feathers look more like a 'Fabio' hair style, than feathers.

    Definitely a cockerel with that wild spiky crest and those long pointed saddle feathers.
