She has outgrown the rest of my flock, despite supposedly being the same age, and is the head of the hierarchy. I e also noticed that she has started dropping one wing and circling one of my hens that is older and laying. I’m wondering if she is actually a cockerel? Please let me know what y’all think. She has not crowed that I am aware of.

Is it the saddle feathers that makes y’all say that? Are there other clues?

The saddle feathers are just icing in the cockerel cake for this guy. Comb and wattle development/color relative to age, the plumage pattern, overall build, etc tell the tale without those

Update, Stila (his name before I knew he was a him) now lives on a farm just outside of town with plenty of other chickens to keep him company. I would have loved to keep him but my neighborhood does not allow it. Thank you all for your help!
