Cockerel or pullet

Are either of these pullets?!

How old are they? Their combs are somewhat red, but not very large. Leaning to both being pullets for now....

You have the same thing our Speckled Sussex have...the back feathers LOOK like pointy hackle feathers, but it looks like it's not that, but just the black part on the feathers make them look pointed. From the lack of red in the combs, I'd guess pullet at this point.

You can't go by feathering just yet. These guys will molt a few more times before the "real" feathers come in. The red one looks like a pullet to me. The darker one is suspicious because of the multiple nubs on the comb, as well as a slightly darker color. However, it still is a little early to tell.
