I bought 6 chicks from a local feed store that said they were all females 2 barred rocks and three black austrolorps and I'm pretty sure one is a cockerel. Any thoughts?

It's developing wattles and its comb is redder then all the other birds. I'm having trouble posting the picture.

If it is the same age as the others and has larger, redder comb and wattles, it is very likely a rooster. A photo would help confirm this.

X 2 - just going by what you have said the indication would be cockerel, but hopefully you can get things sorted out on posting photos soon so we can see the bird(s)

X3 on posting a photo. Trying to identify the gender or breed of a chicken without a photo is like shooting in the dark. If you want an accurate assessment, just post a pic and we'll be happy to take a look at it for you.)
