Here we go! Meet our cockerel, formerly known as Rosemary. He started crowing a couple weeks ago. All of the birds in this thread are around 10-14 weeks old. View attachment 2791627 he and his 4 sisters (hopefully) were hatched by friends and we were given ones that seemed more likely to be hens. So the next question is, what are our thoughts on the others? But first, more pics of the cockerel. View attachment 2791631 View attachment 2791632 below: bluey. Smaller, paler combs and wattles than our cockerel. We also don't see any green feathers in the tail like the cockerel has. But, this one seems to be second in command under him. Tampa is our bantam, and manages to handle being the smallest well. Not aggressive, but just feisty enough. View attachment 2791654 View attachment 2791653
Chobi just kinda follows the crowd. View attachment 2791652 View attachment 2791649

From there, we have the three we more recently acquired, who we have yet to name. Edited to add: let's call this one suzie to make it easier. View attachment 2791662 View attachment 2791663
Here's the silkie! View attachment 2791664 View attachment 2791666
And the last one! Edited to add: let's call this one Marta for ease View attachment 2791668 View attachment 2791669
Thanks all!

Thanks all!

First two white ones are boys. All the rest appear to be girls. The black one you’re calling a silkie is actually a frizzle cochin. Depending on age this may be female or male how old is this one?😊
