Cockerels or Pullets

  1. i have 2 2week old chicks (white leghorn and RIR)
    i'm getting nervous that they may be cockerels.
    i know its early, but i need to know early

    the leghorns comb is yellow not red if that helps with pullet, its just all the shadows​

  5. the leghorn is supposed to be a sexed pullet. i made sure to grab one out of the bin thats comb was smaller and yellow

    Don't give up on the Leghorn yet - I thought mine MUST be a roo, as it's comb came up early - but it's definitely a pullet, and she lays beautiful white eggs every day. Also, her tail is held higher than the other breeds. Leghorns just look like that!
