Our 2 cockerels are starting to act like I'm the dominant one in the flock.
A few days ago I caught one of them picking at one of our older hens and he tried to push her down but I grabbed him and acted like I was the 'rooster' and made it seem like I was trying to 'mount' him like a hen. He and his flock brother now hide from me if I enter their yard and won't come to eat unless I leave.

If I enter to collect eggs, they hide again and wait until I leave to finally come out. The hens and pullets get a little aggressive with them when they do come out.

I feel bad but I don't need them thinking they get to do what they want.
