Was wondering why all my new chicks that I am hatching are turning out gray.
I have a buff roo and a splash hen.

    Hi :welcome

Glad you could join us here! Genetics and colours are not really my thing but I believe the blue splash gene to be dominate. I had a splash roo and all of his offspring were blue.
You might like to check out this link, it's a colour calculator ~http://kippenjungle.nl/Overzicht.htm#kipcalculator

You might like to ask in the genetic threads too, here is the link ~https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/...cs-amp-breeding-to-the-standard-of-perfection

Good luck I hope members in that section can help you further.

    Enjoy BYC :frow
