I tried looking on google for feather patterns but nothing seemed to match up. Is it a type of irregular partridge maybe?

It's a crossbreed so it is a mixture of patterns. Looks mainly penciled

Thanks. A type of pencil had been my firsy guess. I couldn't find any information about how mixed patterning on chickens worked.

It's from my mixed bantam flock. I will try to get a picture of the hen, but I am pretty sure she is a mix too. I just like trying to learn the different terminology for colors and feather types.

Finally got a pic of the hen I think it came from, though she is broody so it's not good quality. Also included the rooster she is out of. The other possible hen is a silver laced Sebright

I would almost guess it came out of the Sebright, with all the white it has.....

What did it look like at hatch? Did it look like a Wyandotte/Sebright chick? If it had a black base and white/cream stripes on its back, mom's likely the Sebright.
